She had turned down a hall hoping to find Gwendal hiding in the library, but only made it a few steps when she saw Julia. She had met her once or twice before at some fancy gatherings, but she was alone this time. "Julia? How come you're at the capital? Is there a meeting between the nobles that brought you here today?" If Gwendal wanted to hide, fine. She'll find him later.

She smiled easily. "No," she said smoothly. "Just a pleasure visit." She had spent little time with the nobles in her own world, as a child or adult, and was unaware of this world's Julia's relationships. "How are you?" she asked. There would have to be some clue to who she was talking.

"I'm fine. I was looking for Gwendal, though. Might you know where he is hiding? I was supposed to help him with something today." And him not being around was making her a little angry, actually. "You heading somewhere in particular?"
