Gunter felt a bit relieved after the outing (and subsequent snuggling) with Josak the day before. It was closure that he needed and he was a little more at ease with himself. He wasn't sure if he'd be forgiven by the only one that mattered, but until they met in the afterlife, then he wasn't going to stress over it any longer

Ken was ... happy? Was that what that was? His hand was trailing along the wall as he made his way back to his room from the garden. He promised Jennifer he would rest up for tomorrow, so he would have enough energy to train with her. He wondered if he shouldn't grab something to eat before he settled in, as it was still rather early.

That thought was derailed as he recognized a familiar face ahead. He raised a shy hand in greeting.

Gunter noticed Ken seemed in better spirits. In fact, it was probably the most content he had ever seen the boy. He wondered what happened to make him give off an aura like that. "Ken, you seem well today. Have you recovered properly?" Ken was in worse shape than he was, but Gunter was feeling infinitely better, so perhaps he was back to par as well.

Ken shrugged a bit. "I'm ... better." There was still a bit of bruising to contend with, but it didn't bother him much. "Are you okay?" Gunter was up and about, and on his own, so he assumed so.

He smiled. "I feel the best I have for some time." Which was true. He was mentally calmer and physically close to 100%. "I'm glad to see you milling about. Has something good happened? You seem pleased today." He imagined not being under Julia's powers would be a weight off one shoulders.
