we spent awhile tonight brainstorming, trying to think of something else we could do to deter future attacks. all we came up with was putting oil all over the stairs and rail, which we eventually thought might be a bad idea in case someone hurts themselves (ie. we could get sued). flour (to show footprints), broken glass, thumbtacks, nails, none of it would really help.

well ideally i'd like to do the whole tar+feather thing, but we don't really have the budget for that. imagine how awesome that would be though!

when I come to stay in your new house I am going to put all your furniture out on the street and sit there drinking cups of tea in what I will call the 'outside inside' house and THEN you will wonder what it all means.
And so will I.
I've just always wanted to create a house with no walls or roof.

see this would be okay, as long as we knew who was doing it. the weird thing about what's happening at our house now is that we don't know who is coming into our property and onto our veranda, we don't know who it is touching our stuff and it's completely creepy. it's actually scaring shona a lot since her room has french doors that open onto the veranda.

best jacket ever! i'm completely in love with it! i've even worn it to work a few times. everyone thinks i'm a complete nut for getting around in it, earmuffs and a scarf, but i don't care. i'm cold.

so as much as you miss it, rest assured that it is being loved and enjoyed.
