Ema and I's string trap failed. Someone took Shona's hanging basket in the early hours of this morning and stuck it across the road in the neighbours driveway. We don't know what to do now. Shona is actually really freaked out, and even though she's a full time worker she says she won't get any sleep tonight (her bedroom links onto the veranda with ( Read more... )

it'll probably pass with the weekend. its been very full moon behaviour in general this weekend, even though its not a full moon.

there was a party next door last night which was mental. quite a few cop cars and paddywagons when we arrived back at about 230am. lots of debris in the street, due to that and also the goths snow party yesterday morning/arvo - they emptied a bean bag onto the street. its a war zone. plus all this other random behaviour has happened in quite a few settings.

as for tips, nothing constructive sorry. or for once, nothing stupid. brain's dead.

a snow party? lol! i have a beanbag i don't want anymore that they could've used. not very environmentally friendly though, i guess if those little balls got into the storm water drains and into the rivers it wouldn't be very good.

which neighbours had the crazy party? the ones on the left or the asians on the right? the new tenants in the left house must be nuts (if it was them).

all that kind of stuff is fun for awhile, but i'm SO glad that i'm moving out of spring hill. relieved, actually. i'm craving somewhere quiet and somewhere that i'll feel that myself and my property is safe. and somewhere where i won't have to worry about popping a tyre after running over beer bottles!

it was the newish people in #51, they're not a loud house or anything by any means - they're totally lovely. it was just a wacky party.

yeah the beanbag / environment thing wasnt good at all =\ that got pointed out to them at some stage, but they were hella drunk and/or trippin balls so y'know, sense schmense =]

i dont think i could bear to live any further out than this though. i love the convenience of everything, and ultimately its a really nice street here. nice community vibe and such. i've adopted inner city laziness VERY quickly though re: travelling. if i didn't have to drive to work i'd pretty much never drive. i knew it'd be like that though, when i was in berlin i was so happy about never having to drive; and just stayed in the equivalent districts to spring hill/valley/red hill/new farm etc (although they were bigger).

so tired. sleep time.

How bizzare that people do that kind of thing. People are truly strange, I would never contemplate doing something like that. I like the idea of the trap because I am sick of being mature, I am having a break from being responsible. I think my friends are prematurely ageing and that makes me feel old too, so I am trying to be young and carefree. It isn't working thus far.
Goodluck with the invasion and removal of property thing and also with moving into your sweet new digs. If you ever need a faux lawyer, I'm your gal!

oh victoria, i will use you for all my faux-lawyer needs!

i've been feeling old lately too, which was why making the string trap was so much fun. i've done a few other immature/fun things lately too, but they're a bit naughty so i won't mention them here.

i think when we move a housewarming will be in order and of course you're invited. you can act as young and carefree as you want!

Am so jealous. I need to go out and be naughty. Fingers crossed by the end of November I will finish my degree, so I can be your faux lawyer with a law degree. Your string trap would have fooled me, obviously your 'perp' is clued up on all things trap like.
