Haha sorry Hannah, that last comment was me. I'm using LJ for a school project about Beowulf, and I forgot I was logged in on that journal. It probably looked super weird to you hahahahaha. Like, why is this lit nerd reading my journal?!
fuck mate, i'm spending the day watching a friend i've not had contact with for over 5 years get married. dont know why i rsvpd to the damn thing. pissed actually cuz the 'Big Gay Out' is on the same day! *cries*
stupid having a v day wedding. the pessimistic side would be-what if they broke up then v day will be forever tainted, but the logical side is that they dont get to have 2 celebrations as a couple, just the anniversary and v day in the same day, shitty!
At least there is only one valentines day... In Korea, they have three.
First is Valentines Day. The female buys something for the male (I believe this is usually something small, like candy) Next is White Day (a month later) here the male buys for the female (I believe something considerably more pricey) Finally there is Black Day (another month later) this is when all the singles get around and eat Chinese black bean noodles and cry about being single (the ultimate crime in Korea)
And then of course Christmas is essentially another valentines here... seriously, Land of the Morning Calm? More like Land of Never-Ending Coupledom.
