First, obviously, get an image or base. Mine is by coloured_skies. Feel free to make adjustments to your image. You can always go back and change it depending on how the tutorial comes out on the image. I did nothing to my base, just left it alone for now.

Now make a new fill layer with #281800. Set it to Exclusion 100%.*
* If you do not like the blue in the image, skip this step.

Make a Selective Color layer with these settings.
Reds: -100, +100, +100, +100
Yellows: +100, +100, -40, -20
Neutrals: +40, -20, -15, +10

Make another new fill layer with #666161. Set it to Soft Light 100%.

Make a Color Balance layer with these settings.
Midtones: -30, -24, +15

Duplicate your base and drag it to the top. Set it to Soft Light 100%.

Make a Hue/Saturation layer with these settings, depending on your image.
Saturation: +30
