Guess that's me. It's been 3 months so I thought I'd show my face. Otherwise, internet society might get the idea that I was abducted by aliens or something. I wish I had more to show for my absence, like a long story or a whole mess of icons or something, but unfortunately, I have nothing to offer of that kind. My fanfiction is pretty broke right

I keep meaning to watch Orphan Black; it sounds so good, and I have a couple friends who are enthusiastic about it.

Yeah, I couldn't forget about John and Rodney's dorky love. They're my OTP of OTPs. I'm taking a break from fic for a bit, though. :)

Hey, I've had to drop out of fests before too. You have good reasons--you have to put school first.

I'm struggling to find anything to watch that I really enjoy right now. Everything is either limping along on last legs, got cancelled, or is on hiatus. I'm about 2-3 years behind most shows anyways (it's pretty much watch it on Netflix at the BF's house or not at all) and the things I'm hearing about *those* shows are making me weep.

There hasn't been anything like SGA to grab me and get me reading or writing fanfic. I'm starting to think there won't be. melagan mentioned that the 10 year anniversary of when SGA first came on the air is coming up in July and it kind of blew me away. That long??

It's crazy when benchmarks like that come up. I had a moment like that recently when the 20th anniversary of X-Files popped up. It's weird. I grew up, watching that show. SGA? Doesn't seem like it's been that long to me and on the other hand, numbers don't lie. Ha ha.
