Man, your life sucks.
Also, make sure you don't try to see too much of KNP. The whole point is to not make it as far as you thought you would because you stopped too often to meditate on whatever. AND remember that the west coast was hit especially hard by the Famine. AND if you hit the Torc Waterfall, or Muckross House [area], or the Ross Castle, or the horse stables, OR any of the lakeside path in-between, WE'VE WALKED THE SAME PATH... IN IRELAND.
