Everyone has these insecurities.. I think it's difficult for women especially, between media pressure to be pretty and thin, and that paradox that women can't sleep around, while men generally can.
In terms of your question, I think the best thing to do is just to see where life takes you. You're young; worrying about whether or not you'll fall in love isn't something you should be doing. It will happen eventually, but it will be a lot easier if you don't try to force it.
Also, even if you're not always in a relationship, that doesn't mean you're alone. You'll pretty much always have a network of friends and family who love and support you... and if worst comes to worst, you could always become a cat lady. :)
