Been a while!

So, it's been about three weeks since I've posted anything, but I have good excuse!

The past three weeks have been anything but peaceful. Since I last posted, my life has changed a lot. I made my choice to leave York, I got in touch with a lot of old friends, I took the opportunity to further pursue my art, and I caught a nasty, naaaaaaaaasty flu.

Maile - CT here. Honestly, thanks for sticking with this blog idea and ultimately making it your own. Your sense of voice / style is loud and clear and really quite engaging. I actually have gone ahead and read more posts, just because I find the content and the you-ness of it so enjoyable. Can't say I'll necessarily be a regular reader, but it's nice to know I can check in and see what you're reading/watching/thinking/doing even after you head to ACA.
I know you prefer expressing yourself in other media, Maile, but your writing is great. You may actually develop quite an audience if you continue to post regularly. I can see, down the road when you've really launched your career in the visual arts / multimedia world, that I may bump into your blog again, though on a different level. May the world open its doors to you, MM! (And may you be ready to walk through that portal when the time comes!)

I really got into this whole blog thing. It's nice to have somewhere where I can just blab about whatever.
I fully intend to keep this up. Most every artist with a website also has some kind of blog attached, so eventually I hope that this will be it. Once school is over and things settle down a bit, I'll probably start posting art up here too.

I had a really great year with you! I don't regret my choice to move schools, but I certainly will miss being in class with you!
