I know, I know, it's a little too early in the game to even think about titles let alone give out much of a plot summary to receive suggestions but I like to start the ball early on these types of things...less hassle when I finally get around to posting ( Read more... )

I don't know about anyone else, but for me a story idea just sort of bites. Something catches my interest - an idea, a word, hell even a gesture (and that was an interesting story to write). Story ideas are sort of floating around all the time, you just need to be quick enough to catch it before it flutters away ( ... )

It's the same with me, especially that gesture part, OMG. Or a word. Just the other night, I can't remember what my friend said exactly, but I got a flash of two characters shooting with double barrel lasers (something about lasers!) back to back, stunning people and I knew...I should probably not tell anyone but my fellow friend/BB participant csichick_2 (WENDY, that's right! <3) extensive details as I know I'd be pounced and bunnied instantly by well-meaning, but ulterior motive friendlies. (Sorry, sorry, tired rambling. Should be in bed, but late night email checking is wee ( ... )

my plot attacked me a few months ago...which is the only reason I am doing a big bang this year...it is persistant and cracky and made of love.

Titles? Well that's a whole other bunny. Sometimes I have a title and then a fic...but mostly I have a fic and then *headdesk* until a title falls out that works.

Everyone works differently though...so who can say.

Hello!

Same here and I thought of changing it, but that would mean changing my crossover fandom and goodness, this bunny is just going to end up horrifically long. I might have to cut it in half after I reach 20,000 words because I don't think it'll be done in time for the end of Bang.

Sometimes my bunnies are inspired by random title ideas that come to me and boy, are those a bitch. *pats head*
