I read the first one over at the challenge post - and yay! I really liked these two. Especially the second one, because I've got an older brother who is annoyingly smart and snarky (except not a jerk, most of the time =P) -- and thus I thought it was a very well written little piece about siblings.

The only thing is, unless Rodney went to Target in the States? We don't have Target in Canada. We do have Old Navy now (we didn't until a few years ago), but no Target. I would say the equivilant, is um. Zellars? Is there Zellars in the States too? I don't know, but it's like Target, sorta.

We're glad you liked them! I was really interested in the interaction between Jeanie and Rodney - he seems like someone who would feel regret very intensely,even if he didn't recognize it, and she seems like someone who really wanted a relationship with her brother, even when he was being a punk. I have two sisters, and I'm fascinated by sibling relationships and what happens when your love for your siblings runs into the inevitable snag of one person being a jerk, because, well, we're all human.

I'm responsible for the Target - it actually occurred to me that there might not *be* Target in Canada (in which case, I am so sorry - Target is the best store EVER). I'm guessing he went to Target in Colorado Springs. Or something.

AWWWWWW that second one was soo adorable, Rodney, yeah he needed that reminder that he's our rodney no matter what, and the astronomically correct constellations that he put up himself just Awwwwwwww!

Havn't read the second one, coz I'm slowly working my way through the eps, will come back when i see ToR :D
