F: Three, Two (R/S, PG-13)

Three, Two. For desetoiles because she is awesome, and also because she asked; sorry, dear, that I didn't exactly use the challenge you gave me or make it very long or any of that. Feel free to make me try again. My next goal is to write a fic that actually goes beyond the initial kissing, like. Un-beta'd, 1000+ words

They could have avoided the whole mess if Paris had gone for Menelaus instead. )

fic, fluff, r/s

Ooh, I really dig this! The Helen of Troy stuff is great fun, and very very Remus; he'd clearly be no good at picking up anyone. And intrusive!Sirius in the restroom, and the end, the way it correlates with the New Year's countdown: these things are all awesome.

Yays! Thank you. I'm glad the characters work; I'm always worried about that.

Oh this was lovely. I loved the idea of Remus wanking to mythology books - which if he had read Ovid's Metamorphosis isn't such an extreme idea.

restroom - should be bathroom in Britspeak

I have never heard of that, but now I'm determined to read it.

Thanks for the comment and the Britpick!

Ovid is Classic in a way.. well, that can really only be applied to Roman writers. Metamorphosis is pretty much ALL of the best Greek and Roman myths retold. But for the quality fun stuff, you need to read the Ars Amatoria, The Art of Love. Really, it's more fun than one should be able to have in Latin ;)

I feel so uneducated now. Or... so educated! Since now I know. But I feel as if I were formally uneducated. Right. Thank you! My brain expansion begins now.

Remus would call them obscene, too, if Sirius wouldn't laugh at him for it.

Remus glares, though it is not a very powerful expression because he is always afraid of being impolite to strangers.

I love both those lines so much. They just really set Remus' character... kind of quirky, but genuinely nice. They both made me smile.

And I really like Sirius here (okay, I like Sirius almost anywhere, let's be honest about this) but his pushing Remus, first with Helen and then to find out the truth of it all... and finally, pushing him just to where he is obviously MEANT TO BE. Really this was adorable.

Thanks! I always see Sirius as a bit pushy and Remus just sort of... flailing. So yes. ^^ Thanks.
