Can I just say that I am loving Dollhouse? I eat up morally ambiguous stories like delicious steak. It's not as good as Firefly, we can get that out of the way and admit it right up front. But honestly I don't believe it's fair to criticize the show for not being up to Firefly's standard of excellence. It's like saying, "Oh please lightning,

I have to agree, especially about the black v. white to gray shift over the course of the shows. Buffy has it's gray moments, but is largely black v. white, where as Angel is a much gayer show. Firefly is largely, to me, a bunch of white hats stuck in a very gray story. Dollhouse is gray to the extreme, bordering largely on black with a few touches of white, which makes it very easy to watch.

And re: Tycho, he can be really harsh, so I tend to take his negative critiques (much as with Michelle) with a grain of salt and his positive critiques as just that.
