Honestly, I'm expecting a package from JC Penney. I've never shopped there online before. In fact, I don't shop there in person because their store smells like a nursing home. So I ordered some pants online - pretty risky for an IF, I know, but anyway, I need nice pants for my new job.
I see it was billed and shipped and decided to go track it. Turns out it was delivered to Virginia Beach. So I double check the invoice and see I didn't mistakenly type some zip code in VA beach that I wouldn't know anyway and then fire off one of the most calm - yet incredibly charged - emails I could muster. It essentially said "Why is my order in Virginia Beach? Call me as soon as possible or I will just dispute the charge on my credit card because I am not going to deal with any hoops to jump through just to get a package - I can always shop at other places." So I paste some of the info to my friend when I notice something. The package jumped from Richmond up to PA, to NJ, and then to CT and back to VA Beach. Well no wonder UPS has a fuel surcharge!!!!!!
Looking at that, I may totally be wrong but wasn't that crap delivered back in JANUARY? Yet it was billed and shipped in March?! So now I feel bad (well not too bad!!!) that I fired off a seriously hot e-mail. I am glad I didn't write the first e-mail I typed which said something like, "Man, forget about me ever shopping at Penney's again if you all can't ship a simple package!" I am assuming this is a simple error, but I still want to know where my pants are!
They better call me tomorrow. I want my damn pants!
