Till the cows come home...

Someone once told me (when I moved to Virginia) that if the cows are sitting down it's going to rain and if they are standing then the weather will be nice and sunny. I've always wondered - when you pass by cows and some are sitting down and some are standing - is it going to be partly cloudy

I've never heard the sitting standing thing, but I have been told the following:
If the leaves are upside down, it is going to rain.
If the cows are standing under a tree, it is going to rain.
There are people to say they can smell or feel the rain, I think these people are crazy.
That's all I can think of now.

*laughs* I hear ya! I wonder how I'll deal with such things in case we really move from Vienna to the rather rural part of .at :-)
