LAMB came first - it was her high fashion line that came out a year or two before HL. HL was released when people realized that hey, not everyone can afford a $500 bag.

A fashion line is usually something considered "high fashion" - stuff you see on runways, in fancy magazines, that kind of thing. A brand is traditionally cheaper, something you can find in a department store. (Like the difference between DKNY and Donna Karan's regular stuff.) It's more easily accessible.

...now the question becomes HOW THE HECK DID I KNOW THIS?

Elyse FTW!!

Ah, I see how it is. Psh. Who wants to blow half a grand on a trendy purse anyways?? That almost makes me want to cry. You could get so many other things for that...

Thanks! :D

I think a fashion line is more based on Gwen's style and what she would wear, and a brand is just kind of something she owns and throws designs out of, but isn't neccessarily to do with her? Maybe?

Haha I really don't know.

I asked Jennifer yesterday how she defined the two, and she put it simply:

A fashion line deals simply with clothes, bags, and maybe shoes. Once you start making bedding, stationary, and other random things like that, it becomes a brand. Or, basically, anything that dons a logo is a brand.

Lol idk. Silly fashion things!

Haha, Jennifer would know, wouldn't she?

How utterly and completely unneccersarily confusing.
