i went for junho's debut showcase in singapore, and it was totally surreal and awesome. and junsu is simply perfect, and junho is such a sweet, sentimental and yet hot guy <3
this was totally unexpected, because i wasn't planning on going for the "zuno showcase in singapore", first with the tickets being so expensive, and secondly i didnt fancy going down when junsu was singing one song only. but my senior had extra tickets and she just told me yesterday, so i didn't even have time to get excited before it was time for the showcase!
and it was totally amazing! i went there a junsu fan, and came out a junsu+junho fan <3 junho's dancing was still kinda stiff, like he isn't used to it- doesn't have the fluidity that junsu's body has <3 but his singing was surprisingly good! it was so much better than i expected, especially when he sang his ballad songs. i admit i was kinda biased, seeing him as riding on junsu's curtails, but after tonight, i'm officially an unofficial fan of his.
it started at 6pm, at Sentosa World Resorts Compass Ballroom, and i admit, i'm a total noob. i haven't been to sentosa in ages and i couldn't recognize the place at all! (and got lost a few times hehe) but we made our way there, and our seats were really good, better than expected cause they were right at the side of the stage. rather near the stage, even!
this was how close we were, we had a rather good view!
and it was so funny, because this is my first time going to an official showcase, and i burst out laughing when i got to my seat and saw the purple balloon and the flag, which says "XIAH IS MY KING", from junsu's fanclub i presume hehe. i was waving that flag around the whole night hoho.
at around 6, the MC came on and she kinda got the audience hyped up, with a minigame at the start where two lucky fans got the chance to have junho call them on their mobile and talk to them. he was so cute, he was speaking in typical korean-chinese hehe.
then, when he finally came on with his debut single "放开我", it was kind of overwhelmingly different. the last time i saw him was on ISF with junsu, and he was the cute twin that could dance female songs really well. and this time, he was just exuding an aura of manliness, which was absolutely delicious <3 after his performance, there was a small section where he picked three questions from the fans, and i felt so bad for him because the first question was: What do you think of junsu as a rival- or something like that. i mean, give the poor guy a break! he's trying to break out of his brother's shadow, even though he is kinda using it to promote, but i see his earnestness, and even though we were all mainly there to see junsu, junho did a pretty good job!
there were quite a few videos after that, which showed the behind the scenes of the asia tour, and it was hilarious. everytime junsu appeared on the screen, the whole hall went crazy! and let me tell you how great it is to hear junsu's voice and his laughter, and his singing, even if its on screen, knowing that he's going to come out in a few moments! <33 junho then sang an english song, "just once" and his engrish is adorable hehe. but not as bad as junsu's, his pronunciation is definitely better!
after that was the main highlight of the day for me (bad, i know, but junsu is still my love over him!). a video showed junho playing with all the hologram pictures, and he clicked on one of junsu, and the whole hall screamed. i remember i was like ohmygosh ohmygosh, he's coming! and "greatest love of all" started playing, and junsu came up on the stage through the fog and it was absolute mayham! we were all going crazy and screaming our lungs off and this was the most surreal experience EVER (other than the time i went to watch shinee at the esplanade <3). i've finally heard for myself, why junsu is said to be the best singer. his voice never wavered, it was so strong and he poured so much passion into it (aside from his engrish, of course!). i was going crazy, because my wish has finally been fulfilled, i've seen one of the DBSK members and heard them sing. and junsu is really the most amazing singer ever, his voice literally wraps you up and lifts you with the song, it's that awesome (:

the really sad thing was that he only sang one song and went off after that, but i understand because it's still junho's showcase. the focus should be on junho, and we're really lucky that junsu even came and sang a song for us. sigh, floating on cloud nine right now (: before junsu went off, he answered a few questions, and even though i didn't understand a single thing, hearing his voice in korean LIVE is totally amazing. but i remember one thing, which is that he loves our pepper crab! great choice, i fully approve because i love pepper crab as well hehe! and also, junho came up at the end and junsu was so asfajfksajfaksf adorable! he was like looking to the side of the stage and going "junho!" and gesturing to junho to come up, and they hugged. the whole hall erupted, and it was so freaking cute! (: and they stood there happily with their arms around each other for a while, and i couldn't help laughing because junho is obviously taller than junsu! junsu went off after that and that was his last appearance for the night )))))):
but junho held up really well. he sang this chinese song "Do you love me", and his voice was amazing. he's definitely suited to those kind of soothing ballads, like junsu as well! his control is rather good for someone who hasn't been training for long. everytime he sang the chorus "ni ai wo ma? (Do you love me?)" the fans would all shout "ai! (love)" (: his voice is really soothing, and a bit low, but still really nice overall. there were games again after that, and he was throwing autographed balls into the audience. and this guy is amazing. he's not a baseball player for nothing! he had three baseballs and he threw them like a pro, alllllll the way to the back of the ballroom! and his muscles flexed amazingly <3 that was one of the best scenes of the night hehe.
there were quite a lot of videos in between, and there was this really lucky fan who had junho SERENADE her with the chinese song "do you love me". but it was weird, because there was no explanation how she got picked, why she was there, and the worst thing was that junho is such a sweet guy and he was totally putting his arm around her and being all cute. and she stoned. SHE JUST STOOD AND STONED D: if the MC didnt say that she was a really big fan of junho, i wouldnt have believed it, because she looked like she couldn't wait to get off the stage. horrible, a once in a lifetime chance, you have like KIM JUNHO serenading you, and you stone -.- he even got down on one knee at the end of the song and gave her a rose! it was painful watching her reaction man :/
after that junho read us a letter he wrote, and there was an encore, where he performed his debut song again, but this time it was the korean version :DDD and the korean version sounded so much better because it sounds much more natural sigh. the showcase ended at 7.30, it was one and a half hours, but it was like the BEST one and a half hours of my life :D (at least this year)
hearing junsu sing live was a total dream, and he is as good as everyone makes him out to be. the passion in his voice, and the way it sounds exactly like his voice in the album, and his control. its just amazing, and junho turned out to be really good as well! (: and he's hot too, i think i'm gonna fangirl him hehe. tonight was awesome, and i'm going to go on a DBSK spree now <3
i'll wait for the day when the five of them overcome this and when they stand on stage together again, no matter where they are, i'll do whatever it takes to see them <3 always keep the faith!
