#1. Fabulous. Ew.

#2. "but it is Simon Baker who really turns on the heat as the charming Christian."

You think so? i thought he was ridiculous and overbearing and he really just got on my nerves. i didn't like him at all. In the book (which i know just proves your "fans of the novel who expect the movie to be an entirely accurate adaptation" theory) he was a lot more likeable, i thought.

#3. Your review was fairly spot-on, though (as it should be, considering we saw it twice. :-D ) i have to tell you, this one was a lot easier for me to get through than most of the others i read. You know how i tell you that you're. . .oh, what's the word i used? Pretentious? in your reviews? This one i liked. Ironically enough, since you're writing about snobs. Go figure.

That's all.

I considered using a difference adjective then "fabulous," but at the time I was more concerned with finishing it than with word choice. I suppose I could change it to "fantastic," our general substitute. Also, it was originally going to be "the charming but [negative quality] Christian," but I couldn't remember the adjective that I was looking for (it was perfect, though), so I just let it go. And that's the story.

How about the old Michael Parker fallback, "Assholic"? i think that suits him just fine.

Of course, i still like it the way it is. i'm just nitpicky.

i need you to come save me. They put me in the mailroom today, and while i love it, the woman's been out for the last three days, and i'm going slightly mad.
