Today I brought a CD to listen to in my car. Fiona Apple's "When The Pawn," to be precise. How did it sound? I can't say, because my CD player WON'T FUCKING PLAY ANY CD'S I FUCKING PUT IN IT. And even when it DOES play (usually after inserting the CD fifteen or twenty times) it won't play more than the first 20 or 30 seconds of the first song

But seriously. This might be a long shot, but on my portable CD player, there's this mode you can be in that only plays the first little bit of songs and then it goes to the next one. i wasn't clear as to whether it played the first 20-30 seconds and then the whole CD stopped or if it played the first 20-30 seconds on every song. If it's the second case, you may want to see if you have that mode on there. i've never understood the point of that particular mode, but hey, it's there.

Also, keep in mind it's the CD player that's fucking up and not the car itself. You can not hate the car yet because, not only have i not even seen it, it also has not been named.

Oh, and considering you're going to be WORKING in radio, i don't see how you can hate it. Either way, see if you can pick up 100.7 or 106.1. They both are your speed, methinks.

The CD stops after the first 20 seconds. I know what mode you're talking about though, it's called "Scan" in my dad's car.

Also, you need to see my car. Although I don't think I'm going to name it.

Also also, I have 100.7 as one of the radio stations. I have 102.? as the only other popular one I listen to, because that has bearable songs sometimes. And, of course, I'll have 103.1. ;)
