I used to write for a site that was based on the roles of comic book heroes. You'd pick a character, or create your own, and write from that character's point of view. It wasn't too bad, it was actually pretty fun. It was a place where I could get away to, there was no mother ripping my head off, there was no whiney ass siblings, there was nothing
