Part 1: The Basics

1. What is your full name? Tanaka, Yukio.

2. Where and when were you born? Twenty-two years ago in Lavender Town, Kanto.

3. Who are/were your parents? (Know their names, occupations, personalities, etc.) My mum's a nurse; she looks after humans. Dad's an accountant; he's kind of too quiet. We're not rich but dad's job means we earn a decent amount of money. They're worried my job means I'm not really working, or at least sustaining myself. Ah! Their names are Izumi and Shoji, though I guess being looked after by Chansey means she was my mother. It'd kind of explain why I feel closer to her and Pokemon in general. Oh well.

4. Do you have any siblings? What are/were they like? I'm an only child.

5. Where do you live now, and with whom? Describe the place and the person/people. There's a small house by Lake Aeolus; that's my home. I live there with my Pokemon. It's louder than the marsh, which I regret. I miss the peace and quiet of the wilderness. It sounds funny, but I miss the Gastly and Duskull too.

6. What is your occupation? I'm a Move Tutor.

7. Write a full physical description of yourself. You might want to consider factors such as: height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, and any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks. Well, I'm tall. That's the first thing you'd notice. The second is that I'm, well, thin as a pole. I was taller than my father when I was sixteen. My hair and eyes are as you can see in the images linked to this account. I'd never get a tattoo. It looks painful.

8. To which social class do you belong? Professional.

9. Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses? None. I'm glad.

10. Are you right or left-handed? Right.

11. What does your voice sound like? Slow, clear, and middle-pitched. I always speak clearly. Mum said I wasn't like this when I was younger, and thinks it's because of my work; I have to speak clearly so Pokemon will understand me.

12. What words and/or phrases do you use very frequently? Aside from things like 'um', nothing. But that doesn't really count.

13. What do you have in your pockets? Nothing.

14. Do you have any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics? When I was young I had to wash my hands all the time. My friends at school said I was obsessive-compulsive, but really I just don't like stuff getting on my hands. I still do it. I don't like eating crisps or finger food because of it.

Part 2: Growing Up

15. How would you describe your childhood in general? Pleasantly controlled. I liked being told what to do.

16. What is your earliest memory? A cooking lesson. I went to trainer school for a short while [I wasn't very good] and we learned how to cook for ourselves when in the wilderness.

17. How much schooling have you had? Not much. I quit.

18. Did you enjoy school? It was too loud and I felt shy and awkward. Pokemon were fun to be around, though; I've rarely met a bad one. I didn't hate it: I just found it rather stifling, so I left. I wasn't cut out to be a trainer.

19. Where did you learn most of your skills and other abilities? From my parents and Mr. Fuji.

20. While growing up, did you have any role models? If so, describe them. Koga of Fuchsia City. He's so calm and controlled.

21. While growing up, how did you get along with the other members of your family? They were busy working, so I didn't see them much. Chansey was cool.

22. As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? A trainer. I wasn't cut out for it, but I don't mind.

23. As a child, what were your favorite activities? Drawing and being around Pokemon.

24. As a child, what kinds of personality traits did you display? I couldn't do much without a mother figure. I think my parents knew that and tried not to spoil me so I'd learn to fend for myself. I guess moving out finally got me to think on my own two feet. Independence.

25. As a child, were you popular? Who were your friends, and what were they like? I had had friends, sure.

26. When and with whom was your first kiss? I kissed Chansey when I was six.

27. Are you a virgin? If not, when and with whom did you lose your virginity? Umm, yes?

28. If you are a supernatural being (i.e. mage, werewolf, vampire), tell the story of how you became what you are or first learned of your own abilities. If you are just a normal human, describe any influences in your past that led you to do the things you do today. My parents and Mr. Fuji have all had an effect on my life. My parents raised me. Mr. Fuji helped me realise what I wanted to do with my life. Team Rocket made me realise that most people suck.

Part 3: Past Influences

31. What do you consider your greatest achievement? Helping a Pokemon learn a difficult skill. It makes me so proud.

33. What is the most evil thing you have ever done? I, er, stole money from my mom when I was five. I wanted a toy I'd seen in the shops. I didn't know I'd done wrong.

34. Do you have a criminal record of any kind? No.

35. When was the time you were the most frightened? The day I encountered a Dusknoir in the marsh. I've never been so afraid.

36. What is the most embarrassing thing ever to happen to you? I got locked outside the house in my underwear after backchatting mum.

37. If you could change one thing from your past, what would it be, and why? I would make sure Lavender Town still had the Pokemon Tower. They could have put the radio tower somewhere else. But those Cubones... I'd have stopped both.

38. What is your best memory? Warm sunny afternoons of my childhood.

39. What is your worst memory? Gible biting me when I first started at the Volunteer House.

43. What are your political views? Those who voted for the radio tower shouldn't have any. It makes me feel so angry.

44. What are your views on sex? Um, it's something good?

45. Are you able to kill? Under what circumstances do you find killing to be acceptable or unacceptable? Absolutely not. I wouldn't kill those members of Team Rocket who killed the Cubones and their mother. I'm not as bad as they are.

49. How honest are you about your thoughts and feelings (i.e. do you hide your true self from others, and in what way)? I'm kind of nervous with other people. I don't let them see too much, but I'm not a good actor so I kind of fail there.

50. Do you have any biases or prejudices? Yes. Those who voted for the radio tower are twats.

51. Is there anything you absolutely refuse to do under any circumstances? Why do you refuse to do it? I refuse to hurt Pokemon. I'd never do it, even if Team Rocket threatened me.

52. Who or what, if anything, would you die for (or otherwise go to extremes for)? My Pokemon, my friends, and my family.

Part 5: Relationships With Others

53. In general, how do you treat others (politely, rudely, by keeping them at a distance, etc.)? Does your treatment of them change depending on how well you know them, and if so, how? Um, if they're nice to me and not members of Team Rocket/Sol/Whatever, we're cool. I guess it depends on how much I like you.

54. Who is the most important person in your life, and why? My parents. They're my family.

55. Who is the person you respect the most, and why? My mother. She's a strong woman. I also respect Mr. Fuji for all the good work he's done.

63. Do you trust anyone to protect you? Who, and why? My Pokemon, and I'd do the same for them.

64. If you died or went missing, who would miss you? My parents. My Pokemon. I really don't like this question.

65. Who is the person you despise the most, and why? Team Rocket. They're murderers.

81. How do you deal with stress? I have a nervous breakdown.

82. Are you spontaneous, or do you always need to have a plan? I have a small routine which I plan a few days in advance. It's nice to get these things sorted but I'm not so rigid I can't change.

83. What are your pet peeves? Smokers. They endanger the health of their Pokemon.

Part 7: Self Images And Etc.

84. Describe the routine of a normal day for you. How do you feel when this routine is disrupted? Well, I get up and shower, and then I change my clothes and feed my Pokemon. Once breakfast [it's an important meal - do it!] is over I get to work. The rest of the day is spent teaching Pokemon and their trainers, then I relax in the evenings before bedtime.

85. What is your greatest strength as a person? My warmth.

92. What are your reasons for being an adventurer (or doing the strange and heroic things that RPG characters do)? Are your real reasons for doing this different than the ones you tell people in public? (If so, detail both sets of reasons...) I enjoy seeing the fruits of my work when a Pokemon finally learns something it's been having difficulty with. It's a very rewarding career.

(You might even want to speak as if he or she were sitting right here in front of you, and use proper tone so he or she might heed your advice...) Be a man and admit you love Marion, you wuss. Then get a haircut. Utena art is pretty, but it's creepy as hell.
