I went shopping on my own volition today, though it was largely due to a dire need of dress socks and a black belt for my cousin's wedding (which is on the fourth of July). I love your vignettes. Your cousin's so cute! They look really happy in the only picture that showed on my computer (the others were red X's for some reason). Weddings are fun to attend; seeing one of the happiest moments in a family's life really restores one's hope for the future.

pity-- i don't think the TNA will go over too well with my episcopalites. it IS surprising how much a silly mnemonic like that breaks up the monotony of class, tho.

i don't get this whole TNA thing. is it just supposed to show you how to do averages? too lazy to think about it. why would any SAT-level math problem require such complex a mnemonic?? id hate to see your kids tackle calculus with this memorize-everything-without-understanding attitude. its really not a good way to approach math. :P but your story is pretty funny.

TNA was just another way to make kids memorize the chart.

Lots of people are wondering why I did that, so I'll have to write a follow-up post on the psychology behind TNA.
