Neil's wedding was awesome - finally got to see my relatives after a long, long time. I think that Neil has found the perfect match in Deepa, and I'm positive that they'll cherish a lifelong happy and healthy relationship. Congratulations again ( Read more... )

yeah, I called housing the other day to see if I could make my room a single and they said they've OVERBOOKED. The rooms that were previously for 3 people are now for 4. Insane! But think of it this way, the more roomates you have the more new potential friends, and the better chance that at least one will be a good roomate (you can just ignore the others ;) )

yeah, but the sad part is that you're almost guaranteed to never have the room all to yourself (a wonderful, wonderful feeling). by a stroke of sheer luck, my roomie's class/ work schedule and mine were perfectly staggered so we were never in the room together in the morning or afternoon.
as for a room of four people, the girls down my hall seemed to have a blast, and their room was absolutely huge! hopefully you'll get 3 decent people. it can be such a gamble....

blah, blah, blah. when's roberto going to tell me if i can do the SAT training this weekend? he was "discussing" it with his bosses or something, since i'm not actually trained for the original SAT. all things considered, NSAT is like the ACT, so it's not like i'd have to learn much else. punx.

Tell me when you find out. It's starting at 7:00 PM Friday, and I'd like to know for sure by 3:00 Friday (call both the cell and the house) if you're going to go so I can give you a ride there and back. TPR is booking hotels again, and I don't have the info (does that surprise you? :-P). Since training is starting at 7:00, I'm planning to head out at around 4:00-4:30-ish (which places us under rush-hour traffic) and going directly to the hotel to check-in to our rooms and dump my clothes and whatnot; then I'm going to the TPR office.

They're having a full N-SAT training session in August, if you were wondering.

Good luck with contacting Roberto!
