It seemed like a good idea - I'd read some of his posts elsewhere, and I didn't find his ideas entirely distasteful. I'd joined his crew in this big "election" game they had going last fall and I guess he got a whole bunch of hits because now he's got this big announce-only blog on livejournal

If he's actually writing these himself I would be surprised.
More than likely they are being written by some very sharp law-school grad who can manage to sound like Obama.
The five at a time is probably a matter of getting them approved before posting.

This morning I watched a youtube video of "Davey and Goliath", a claymation series I watched when I was a kid. "Moral Orel" is a parody of it, and it was interesting to see the original material again for comparison.
I don't think he's so much anti-corporate as I think he's a little too cozy with RIAA and other copyright expansionists, but he's at least saying things once in a while that sound like he cares about the little guy.

Watched a lot of Davey and goliath and have seen some recently- similar reaction.
My favorite davey & goliath parody was a cross with Pet Cemetary.... There are a few people who have ever seen it, but the phrase "I'm all evil now Davey" can ussually get a grin out of me.
Obama has at least seen some little guys in his life. Hasn't done anything too egregious as far as I'm concerned.
Hell, that conversation about whether torture is bad (turns out it is) was a pleasant relief.
The guy is a politician- but so far he's a tolerable one.
