Right, I'm off to see our Spanish partners...

We're pretty short of excuses here, this should be fun. I wouldn't mind but they only brought me onto this project at the start of the year and it's been running for two years! :S

So I seem to be lurching between "Yes, this is all fine of course I can implement this for you in two weeks when it was supposed to take someone six months" and "ARGH ARGH ARGH ARGH WHY WHY WHY". I love my new job.

So it seems I'm being sent to Barcelona for a few days on the 30th... It's all go here.

So apparently I'm now adding cameraman to my list of skills since Theo needs someone to record his lecture and CLIC are all on a manual handling course... At least life around here's never dull!

So as of today I'm officially University staff (finally). "What's actually changed?" I hear you ask? Well, on today's showing very little, Theo's not here and I still haven't been told what the job actually *is* (as I have 4 others to keep me going this bit doesn't really matter right now) but at least someone will pay me! :)

It may be the drink talking but I'm trying to figure out which is the most festive member of the cult of Skaro...

My parents Christmas tree has two curved branches right at the top sticking out like a horn on one side. It's quite strange sitting looking at a tree covered in sparkly decorations and supposedly representing everything good in the world when it also bears a disturbing resemblance to Venger... Hmmmm I wonder if I'm showing my age there...

So having gone from 3 jobs, all of which were paid, to 3 jobs none of which were paid, I'm now looking at holding down 4 jobs 3 of which are paid as of January. Not that I'll be making any more than I was to begin with but it's certainly a step up on the middle option. I am beginning to fear for my sanity just a little however.... 4 jobs, yikes ( Read more... )
