Okay, today I have a question for folks... poll, kind of. I'm working on two different styles of art. I'm posting two renderings of the same picture, please tell me which one you like best. Lots of posts, please! :)

Upon further review, I would also like to add that I like the skin *color* better in the first one. I think that skin color looks more natural, but something is up with shading on it that make it look odd. As I continue to stare unrelenting at the two pictures, I think it's really the face on the first one that looks odd to me. I'm not sure I would really notice the rest of the shading on her skin if it wasn't for this blotch on her face. Meh, I should stop staring at these, the more I look at it, the more confused I get, especially my computer keeps skipping the screen up and down and I'm never sure which one I'm really looking at. I might have to retract the vote and say that overall I'd go with No. 1 but the face still looks odd to me. ::sigh:: Lack of sleep + long day + broadsided by a question from someone else = blithering idiot. Whee. So maybe my vote shouldn't count at all. Heh.

I had cel shading, so I must say number one. However, there is more to go with it. The background really irks me. I believe the only difference between the two is the cel shading, I hope I am not mistaken. But the background, yes -- you need a higher resolution image, it looks like a late PSX game, we've moved beyond that quality! The little bit of plant life in the background contrasts horribly with the smoothed over image. Just noticed the texture for the girl's ... whatever she's suppose to be wearing, is also a bit low-res. But I'm nit-picky. :-P

I'll omit my comments on how loose the girl probably is... ;)
