I have to learn some computer programming basics before I start my classes at the engineering college where I'm getting my Master's degree. I'm not an engineer. I'm no computer programming expert (that's why I use a Mac). Anyway, all the tutorials start off with a program called "Hello World" that simply outputs "hello world." AHHH! She's back!

Okay, I KNOW this is weird, but I totally was just avoiding work (yes, on the 4th of July) and checking my feed reader, so while I know you JUST wrote, I swear I'm not stalking you. But, I AM excited to see you back on LJ! (I really should, myself....)

I had NO idea you were doing all this! I am excited to hear about your adventures moving - I keep wanting to do the same (ugh, CT). And, engineering! That is so super geeky-cool. :)

Okay, I should get back to work (some freelance copyediting, so at least I love it!), but I just wanted to say hi. And be sorta creepy, I guess. Haha.

Yes! We'll I should clarify that it's totally not engineering. It's a Digital Media M.S. I'm not that awesome at anything pertaining to math or science. But my goal is to be a Disney Imagineer, so that's kinda like engineering! Hopefully I'll learn stuff.

That would be AMAZING, to be an Imagineer!! I'm rooting for you! And, I don't know how much (if ANY) help I can be from here, but if you ever have any programming questions, feel free to ask away! I am no longer solely a coder, but I do quite a bit of it at the library these days. :)

I just might have to take you up on that. I have to learn this program called Processing that's basically an object oriented language and it is TOUGH. It's not clicking for me. Javascript seems to be a little easier. Luckily the program is sort of half theoretical, half project-based. Basically I have to know the programming stuff and the software in order to do the projects. I'm just hoping there's someone else in this program that doesn't have a web development background!
