Even though I've already talked at length about Kill Bill: Vol. 2, I feel the need to mark something this huge with an entry.

Speaking of the complete film, I think Kill Bill is one of the greatest movies I've ever seen. As I said in a comment, "It's because of the second volume that the first is able to so recklessly throw away certain ( Read more... )

Coming soon to Compact Discs: Kill Bill Vol. 2.

On second thought, scratch that. I have a midterm tomorrow and therefore won't be at work to download it.

I think I want to see it at least one more time before watching a bootleg, so take your time.

Please take me with you. I don't want to see it the first time as a bootleg. I did that with Kill Bill Vol. 1 and I'm still regretting missing the chance to see it in theatres.

Will do, hopefully this weekend. Also, you may not have totally lost your chance to see Vol. 1 in theatres. There are plans for a limited release of the re-edited, uncut, and complete 4 hour+ Kill Bill to be shown in select theatres (hopefully at least one in Madison) later this year, presumably after the initial Vol. 2 DVD is released, when they're gearing up for the big combined cut mega-DVD-set. And I thought The Two Towers Extended cut was the longest I'd ever sit consecutively in a theater....

I'd say that on the whole, I enjoy the Vol. 2 soundtrack more (but that's not to say that the first isn't excellent as well).

The Vol. 1 soundtrack had some damn cool stuff that hit you right away, but now it seems like it's almost half-filler. As of now, I definitely prefer the Vol. 2 soundtrack.

It's holding, though I usually use my Ibanez RG7620 instead now. The 7 strings allow me to more directly communicate with the True Spirit of the Dark Lord™. Also, call me old-fashioned, but I'm better at the whole bleeding for Satan thing, so I think I'll stick to that. Good to know you're still around, though.
