The composition was actually the first thing I sketched out in my sketchbook, than eyeballed that as I painted to make sure the paint would be about where I needed it to be for the figures.

I ahve to admit the coloration looks a bit better online. It's just a tad darker than the real thing, and I kinda like that better. More of a night feel a guess.
