Summary of Political & Civil Unrest in Iran

As you may already be aware, last Friday was the heavily anticipated presidential elections in Iran. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (president in last term and currently "re-elected president) was campaigning for a re-election against a handful of opposition candidates including Mousavi who was had the largest advantage and support against Ahmadinejad.

i'm kind of perplexed by the lack of open speculation, even in the alternative media, regarding US intelligence involvement in all this civil unrest, especially the underground reportage of it... not to say iranians don't have good reason to be pissed off, but the US government and mainstream media are hardly impartial when they have such a transparent and massive interest in regime change... this article is more less hyper and more thoughtful and historically accurate than anything i've seen on CNN...

Yeah, I certainly have no doubt the US Intelligence have a strong hand on this. I've been expecting it for a while, especially from what I've heard about the son of the Shah for many years.

And who was on CNN the other day? The son of the Shah, Reza, with a big smile saying "hello! your gov't put my father in power, now its my turn!!'

Thank you for the link! I've mostly been sticking to eye witness reports on blogs and twitter than CNN and what not. The videos being uploaded are getting more violent (except the epic silent protests by hundreds of thousands of people), more heartbreaking, and more intense every day.
