So several years ago, my mom and my aunt played a trick on Kristen and me. They called us to the barn for some made-up reason, and then when we went to visit our horses, we found that they had been dyed different colors. Chancey's mane was green, and Whiskey's mane was blue. It worked a lot better for Whiskey than Chancey because Whiskey is grey and Chancey is a liver chestnut. Her "green" was mostly black, but Whiskey's bright blue gloriousness lasted for months.
A couple of years later, Mom and I played a similar trick on Kristen when we decorated Whiskey with glitter and color and ribbons. He was a pretty princess, but I'm not sure how amused Kristen was, especially since she had some friends visiting who got to see his new look.
It was only a matter of time before Kristen and Mom got me with Chancey. I think this happened two years ago, and I just came across the pictures again on our camera. (This camera thing is a little addictive!)
My beautiful pony, all dressed up and held by Kristen:
She's not pregnant...just really fat.
I like the pink poof on her forelock and the glitter paint on her ears.
There are bells in the ribbons braided in her tail, so she jingled when she walked.
She may be little but she is fierce...and she will kill you if you keep laughing at her.
They put heart-shaped sparkley stickers on her butt. Poor Chancey.
I think this picture speaks for itself.
Here I am with my poor, abused, and thankfully forgiving horse. Faith's nose is at the bottom.
