My New Dryer

Jan 14, 2009 10:25

Yesterday night I used my new dog dryer. I started at 10:15. At 10:30, Faith was mostly dry. I nearly had tears in my eyes, actual tears. It is seriously the most awesome device ever. I used to mostly let Faith air-dry, but if I was feeling ambitious then I would take my dinky little human hair dryer and my slicker brush, and painstakingly ( Read more... )

It really is. Poodle ownership is suddenly not quite as onerous as it was!

Luckily Faith doesn't have too much hair, so it takes hardly any time at all to dry her! The difference between her coat air-dried and her coat dried with this thing is incredible.

Hi, I hope you don't mind, but I followed you over here from the dog community and I added you to my friends list. I love reading about the many different activities you and Faith take part in; I hope to one day do them with Madden. Hope it's okay:-)

Sure, I love new dog friends. I see that you are also a horse person! I have a fat little QH mare. :)

Hi---I just happened to see that you love your dog-hairdyrer... what brand is it? OUr dog Stella is a therapy dog and needs to be washed before every visit and last winter I wrecked (as in fried) her coat with our people hairdryer...

I have one of the Double K Challengair dryers--I think it's this one. I HIGHLY recommend getting a dryer for a poodle or poodle mix! Mine is almost two years old now and still going strong.

I peeked at your journal and see that Stella is an agility dog, too! Mind if I add you to my friends list?

thanx... I can't tell the difference between all the Double K Challengair dryers except there is a HUGE price range - what do those four hundred dollar ones have that the one-fifty ones don't? Not that I can afford any of them right now... but I am curious

I have no clue what makes a $400 dryer cost that much. I got mine for Christmas, so I didn't really pick it out. I'm still a n00b when it comes to grooming equipment. Sometimes I lurk on poodleforum.com--they have a good grooming board where people give advice about different products.
