was paul a tent-maker who served when he wasnt busy making tents, or a servant who made tents to fund his servanthood?

2 Thessalonians 3.

He was a servant of the Lord who made tents so that he would pose no burden, and could not be blamed of living on anyone's else's charity but the Lord alone.

my point was what eamon said...ive just been thinking the last couple of days about the fact that pauls purpose was to serve, not to 'have a career', or to be 'sucessful', he worked because he had to live, and knew he couldnt efficiently serve if he was a burden to anyone in any way...i guess this just helped me realize that i need to focus on other people more...im way too into my 'plans', and what they are or should be, and not so much on what god wants to use me for...

anyway, i was thinking about this all day monday and then god did something big monday night...i like how he works...sometimes it makes faith easy...
