Weiss Kreuz Sphere | Locked to Weiss Kreuz Cast

[OOC - Not meaning to cut anyone out from further escapades later, but we'd like to just warm up with castmates please. Also, HEAVY WARNING, no sex, but...plenty of violence and religious themes that many people might find offensive.]

The rain outside was horrible, drenching the world and leeching the colour out of it. It was as though it was infecting the world with his dark mood, and Farfarello thought that was altogether too fitting.  He knew it was only a matter of time before Schuldig tracked him down and insisted he leave the church, but the thing was...he wasn't here to cause havoc.  He actually did occasionally come to pray, just...never during services and usually only at times that he could be relatively certain the church would be empty.

Nor did he ever pray to Christ any more.  He knew that God would not answer his prayers.  He was one of the Holy Damned, ordained by God to be damned for actions that God Himself compelled him to commit.  But for once, that ever so rare once, the spinning in his mind slowed down and he was knelt at the altar of the virgin.  He'd brought some money to put into the box to pay for the candles and matches, and he had lit a fresh candle of his own before kneeling down to pray.

He held onto it as he prayed, as though it would somehow imbue his tarnished soul with a bit of light.  The wax dripped down the candle and onto his fingers, the heat burning him a bit though he wasn't even aware of it.

Sé do bheatha, a Mhuire,
atá lán de ghrásta,
Tá an Tiarna leat.
Is beannaithe thú idir mná,
Agus is beannaithe toradh do bhroinne, Íosa.
A Naomh-Mhuire, a Mháthair Dé,
guigh orainn na peacaigh,
anois, agus ar uair ár mbáis.
He repeated the prayer over and over in his mind, as though the repetition alone would grant power to his words.  He wasn't merely praying, wasn't merely repeating the words by rote, but feeling them with every core of his being.  He was damned, he knew he was damned, he could not be forgiven for his sins because he knew he did not, would not, and could not repent for his sins.  But perhaps the Virgin could intercede on his behalf.
