Japan day 11 - Nara

Another day of back ache and umbrellas. Arly start and got the tyrain to Nara. Nice little town with one of the highest concentrations of unesco stes in the world. most of which are in a densely wooded park inhabited (or perhaps infested!) by deer. which are also preserved as a national treasure. Nearly got into a fight with two of them as they insited on trying to eat a polythene bag someone had discarded. There was much tug of war-ing and foot stamping and head butting but as they'd had their antlers removed and i had my new rocks on i figured it was a fair fight.

Haha, I'd love to see YouTube footage of that one :)

i took plenty of pics feeding them but none of the fights. annoying as litter is almost non existent in japan. I almost made one of them jump into a busy road, which would have been very embarassing!

Ha ha - I did that two years ago travelling around Europe, on average I spent three hours every night working on the laptop - this time I'm on holiday! ;-p
