2008 Books List

Jan 01, 2009 21:52

Here are the books that I read in 2008. In 2007, I read 59 books. I didn't do very well in 2008--I only read 40.

Like last year, the numbers will be in the order in which I read the books--not numerical order.

Books I've read in 2008:

Fiction:
1. A Certain Slant of Light by Laura Whitcomb

2. I Love You, Beth Cooper by Larry Doyle

3. ( Read more... )

Ooh ooh! I read A Certain Slant of Light!! I think it would have been better if it was in the past tense, but otherwise it was pretty good, IMO. I think the age dif was a bit weird, but I read the Russell books and I have a thing for older men, so who am I to judge? LOL

I agree--I am weird about books written in the present tense. I can never get used to it.

The age thing was kind of strange...but I did enjoy the book very much. It was very romantic and mysterious, as well as good for making you think about what happens after death--it sort of reminded me, in a way, of The Lovely Bones, only less sad.

I'm quite impressed with your book list. Mainly because you know how to read. I'm still working on it. Although, I did give a one year old books for her birthday today. That was nice of me.
