As for FFXIV, nope I don't play. I've followed the game closely in the beginning. Boy was it bad. Then lost faith but heard they were going to resurrect it. I saw how it had improved and started following again. When I saw how cool these new prime battles were, new UI, and how they'd change the battle mechanics, I was hooked.
Then I lost interest again before the recent patch release which adds housing and other stuff. Also I could never decide what I would name my character with the whole first/last name thing...

I've been thinking a lot about all my gaming buddies over the years and how much of an impact they had on my life.
You're kindness in helping me in FFXI really stuck with me - I've played a lot of MMOs since then and the example you set me has driven my behaviour in online games ever since. That of kindness, compassion and making our little corner of the universe that little bit nicer for everyone.
I really hope you're ok mate and it would be awesome to hear from you.
