About Modern Family:

The only part I don't really like is the way they seem to insist on a mildly sappy end to every episode. Thankfully, it's usually tempered by something amusing, but it's still a little annoying

Yeah, that does get annoying. To me, sappy endings can be nice BECAUSE you don't usually expect them. If I'm just waiting for it, it loses any impact.

Exactly! The sappiness often feels a little out of place, and it makes bits of the show a little too predictable. Apart from that, the show is awesome.

She is the cutest thing ever, I swear! I was pretty surprised when she started to get teary. It showed just how truly grateful and humble she is. I ♥ her ridiculous amounts.
