LIES. LIES AND FALSITIES. THE BEST BAND IN THE WORLD IS, IN FACT, A KOREAN BOY BAND WITH THE TIME IN THEIR TITLE. NOT SOME MIXED GENDER (GASP) FELLOWS NAMED AFTER SINFUL WORDS.
Ummm Ros is gone and I miss her terribly. *sigh* The poem was perfect and the church was beautiful, and Lucas remembered the 'colleagues are okay' line, so I can live with it? I suppose. But oh GOSH, I'm sad.
Poisoning the old HS was wonderfully, wonderfully played. The guilt and sadness on Harry's face and how he was covering his eyes with his gloved hands... dark and brilliant.
Harry/Ruth. TEARS. God, Nicola Walker does this to me every time - Ruth just puts things in this perspective that is completely heartbreaking and she's so right about it all. Their end scene, on the roof terrace: It doesn't matter if they get married or not because they are so close already. I'm so glad the show has finally acknowledged the fact that they are already practically married and that it had Ruth state that in such a beautiful way. "I think we've forfeited the chance at that life, Harry, you and me. The things we've seen; the things we've done." YES. PERFECT

I WANT ROS BACK SO SO MUCH. I loved the whole funeral scene and how her death was dealt with, but I still wish she hadn't died in the first place... She will take a while to get over, I think

We all wish Ros hadn't died, and I am missing her, but there is also a lot of awesome things going on in the show as it is now.
Ruth is wonderful - and you are right about most of them losing perspective on things - Harry especially. Ruth is their central moral compass most of the time, I think.
In 9.02 I didn't mind Beth as much. IDK why. I'm indifferent toward Sophia Myles, but at this point, Beth as a character could go either way.
Dimitri, on the other hand, I really like. HE'S AWESOME, even if he hasn't been given much to do yet. He's also very good-looking. :D
We all loved S7 Lucas, I really hope they take this somewhere that keeps in mind that character.
TARIQ WILL FOREVER BE ADORABLE. I'd like some character development for him please! And Dimitri! I think this series is shaping up to be quite good, tbh.
I tend to do that. I once had a massive conversation about Lucas' mental health with someone on LJ. 'Twas fun. :P
Yeah, I can't wait until they finally release it! By all reports it's finished/almost finished, so hopefully it won't be too long before it's released. They are such a fantastic band! ♥
I agree with pretty much all of this! I loved all of the Harry/Ruth for the reasons you said. Plus, I have faith that they will rebuild it this series and FIX IT, finally.
I do quite like Beth so far, which surprises me. Dimitri I think is going to be great, because he has that noble self-sacrificing thing down already.
I've never warmed to Lucas, but perhaps this will make him at least slightly more interesting to me this series.
Exactly! I'm hoping this will be the series where they finally get things sorted for good. I'm happy with the angst at the moment, but hopefully it leads to something more in the near future!
Eh, I'm indifferent towards Beth- I don't dislike her, but I don't see much in her character that is likable either. Hopefully she improves! I really wish they'd give Dimitri more to do! I have a feeling he could be a really hot interesting character, but he's barely had anything to do so far!
See, I think Lucas is my favourite Lead Male character- I hated Adam and liked Tom in parts- so I don't mind the focus on him. Plus, I find Richard Armitage very easy to look at...

The Ruth/Harry stuff was really pretty. But by the end of this series they better should get their shit together. I mean they are together enough.
I'm still in denial about Ros. I refuse to believe she's dead. Oh yes indeed.

I'm hoping that this current Harry/Ruth angst will lead to some sort of conclusion by the end of this series. Fingers crossed!
ME TOO. Surely she was badass enough to be able to save herself from being blown up. SHE HAS TO COME BACK!!! *sobs*
