The Grampians mountain range has undergone some geological change as a result of the rather unusual amounts of rain there. The land slide I could get a semi-decent photo of looks like this:

I was reminded of some
Aboriginal rock art which
resembles the shapes of the land slips.
This caused me to wonder: Maybe these huge marks occurring in the landscape in other extremely wet, swamp-filling, habitat replenishing years influenced the Aboriginal artists in their depiction of powerful spirits of land and abundance? Or maybe not. Just a thought.
