iMac help

can someone help me figure out how to 'clear the cache" on my 3 year old iMac... it's a 9.0 system, I think. It's sloggy getting mail or websites and keeps cutting me off. I think it's clogged up with wedding pictures and years of not optimizing... mahalo

what browser are you using?

for internet explorer, select "tools" -> "internet options" -> "delete cookies" and "delete history"

thanks so much. i did it! I have a clean history and cookies.... now, for my traffic abstract?

there may not be much you can do about that. clearing the cookies only frees up memory on the computer. the flow of information in and out of your computer is not affected. that depends on the type of connection that you have and your provider.
