I got all excited when LJ notified me that you had posted a new entry and then was all sad face when it was tagged not fic vV but actually I really enjoyed reading this :o I kind of want to do it myself, though I can scarcely call myself a writer of fic these past 4 months or so... e_e I liked reading your answers, though♥♥

Aww you're definitely still a writer even if you've been on a hiatus ♥ so you should do this because I want to read your answers 8D
Will you have time/the inclination to pick up writing again soon? I miss your writing!

Time, no (well, maybe, New Years break is coming up). Inclination, all the damn time ;A; I have a friend's birthday coming up soon that I'm trying to write for, so maybe. I miss ficcing. :( P.S. will you be writing fic anytime soon? Wanna read ;0;

I definitely need to kick myself back into writing! I've been spending all my time reading novels instead lately so I should be all stocked up on expendable words XD must drag self out of bed and to a computer!

this is so interesting! you and i have a lot of similarities in the way we look at our own writing.

On the other hand, I'm horribly narcissistic and also a horribly good self-critic, so it's more important to me that I think what I write is good. this 5000%

also having "grown out" of fujikita is so sad though i understand your reasoning. i also like how you put unconsciously picking up things from your favorite writers/fics. also i used to be hell-bent on the rare pairs, but as time went on i started feeling the same way you do, about there being at least something to connect them. ofc that assumes "rare pair" is defined as a pairing that usually doesn't interact, not one that's not written a lot. for example kitakura are practically bff but i think it's been written twice (both involving me somehow haha), so they would be rare in the latter sense.

i haven't read this fujikita horror fic yet and i am SO EXCITED. /running

Hmm the growing out of fujikita thing... part of it has to do with the fandom too. A while back, when Y/F was starting to get more established in magazines and stuff, there was this backlash against Ki/F with a lot of people being catty about it and shippers getting called delusional and so on. My friends and I still pushed on with the shipping of course, and it's not like anyone specifically pointed to me (or any of my friends) and said anything bad, but it was just kind of annoying overall. And then Fujigaya started acting pained, and after a while Kitayama gave up on it too, and so I gradually got tired of ... wanting something that nobody else, including Ki/F themselves, wanted? Something like that ( ... )
