He should give the management of the hotel to me. I would make it one of the best in Korea. :P Never involve family in business -- it usually never end up good.
Just read the newest reports with the response. Looks like the management was going to shit and the hotel was losing money, and therefore delaying payment to workers. This is what Dispatch reported on. They didn't follow it further though.
Junsu was informed, stepped in to pay for everything, and knowing he couldn't continue to do that during military service, sold the hotel to people who actually know wtf they're doing. They've set it up so that everyone is fully paid with retirement benefits and all that, plus the employees are guaranteed to stay for two more months, then decide whether they want to keep working for that new management or not.
I guess we'll see if Dispatch wants to counter that. Wouldn't be the first time they reported on half of a story to create maximum outrage. They got their clicks, so they're happy.
[Naver report so far]Edit again: Honestly hope he never supports the wild ventures of family members again. There must be pressure to give back to a family that has supported his career, but seriously... this is

Yep. Slightly different situation because it turned out that the construction workers that sued Toscana for not paying for materials or whatever were legitimately attempting to blackmail/extort them out of a ton of money. Apparently they had a bit of a criminal record like this previously.
Luckily, the Toscana folks who were overseeing the construction were super diligent about keeping records and receipts of everything, which quickly proved they had done everything properly. The CEOs of those construction companies are in prison still as far as I know. I guess they thought going to the press with Junsu's name would pressure Toscana to pay them to save his reputation. Bad idea. And yeah, Junsu had nothing to do with that either.
This case actually is Toscana being badly managed though. I'm sure it was confusing and shitty for the employees dealing with this before Junsu stepped in. No excuse for that. I imagine it was infuriating for him considering what he has been through before.
yes! that was it. this one is just... it'd take a lot for me to believe that junsu would purposefully delay their payments considering what he's gone through and how much he hates sm. so i'm really glad to see that the employees are getting some reassurance now after all shitty things they went through with delayed payments and whatnot.
now i just really hope that his parents don't try to venture into another business, like please, just retire already.

anyhow, i'm glad they're fully paying all the employees + guaranteeing them at least some amount of time for retaining their employment
