I'da rather seen Moffat go first too. I don't dislike his work as many do, but we've already seen a 21st century showrunner run more'n one Doctor. I wanna see a 21st century Doctor outlast a showrunner. But if Moffat's smart enough to leave while he's on top like Davies, the new kid oughta do that.

I would like to agree with your comments about Mickey Dolenz. I got to see Jones, Dolenz, and Tork in concert once! After a baseball game, which my aunt graciously took me to in order to see the concert after. (I say 'gracious' but she had been a teenager when the Monkees first began, so I suspect she might have leapt at the chance to agree to take me. ;-) )
