I had forgotten how weird the Rainbow Room sequences are. For the most part, Mike is fingersynching with a look of intense concentration, and everyone else is goofing the heck off. (There are exceptions, but that's the general rule.)

I had previously thought Monty Landis was in so many episodes because B&B liked working with him and vice versa and he was just a great character actor. Reading your reviews I think you are onto something with the reoccurring Landis is Zero with different aliases theme!!!!

Someone (I think it was bluemoonalto) commented on Tumblr that, if Micky did in fact pawn his drums, he might well have ended up at the same pawn shop where Peter finds the harp - and encounters Zero. That dovetails into the theory quite nicely!
