...a bit anticlimactic. Still, I'm pressing on and waiting to really get drawn in by a character. It's early, but I'm hopeful that someone will strike me as fantastically interesting soon. So far, it's a lot of hey, it's that guy and eep, don't drink the water, boys.

I should start watching The Pacific, shouldn't I? Maybe I should wait and just watch the whole thing in one go?

You probably should. I'm watching as they air, and enjoying finding things out slowly--but then, I'm not so much finding things out, as I'm watching to see what they get right and wrong. I think two episodes at a time is about all I can stand at once, in part because of the violence. And in part because of the eye-rolling and venting that I have to do on a regular basis. That's probably just me, though.
