Lesson Learned

Dec 31, 2007 12:58

You would have thought I would have learned this lesson earlier in life -

It's apparently a bad idea to use a spirograph on a pine kitchen table without a book or other hard surface between the pen and the table :P
oops! )

I guess I can think of worse things to have etched in your table. :)

It's true! In fact if I knew I could do a perfect big one in the center of the table, I might just do that :)

But but - oh dear. But of all the scratches to have, that one is very pretty!

Doh!

Well, I suppose it could be sanded down and stained?

That or I could just use tablecloths more frequently :)

Whoa! I have never actually used a spirograph so I didn't realize they could be so....forceful? But still, it does look pretty awesome. =)

Well as I've learned many times with this table - pine is pretty darn soft!

But but, you've never used a spirograph??? How is that possible - we must fix this childhood deprivation post-haste!

Yeah, I don't know quite how it happened! I didn't have one...I guess no friends had one either? I don't know! I had one of those paint-spatter thingies, where you put the card stock in and the little motor rotates it quickly and you drop in paint and *SPLAT* make cool designs. Messy, but less lightly to permanently harm the kitchen table, I suppose.
