Same thing happened to me.. :p But I gained a bunch of weight like a year ago and now it's finally coming off -- I've lost 35ish -- and I'm going for 30 more by Feb. and then I will be back to normal. Esseh... scary stuff!
I lost 15 or 20 lbs when I became vegetarian! Also getting cardio for at least 30 min at a time for 4-5 days a week and sticking around 1400 to 1600 well-balanced calories helps too. Esp. for gals in our age range, once we get older strength training is necessary too or we just look floppy and skinny. IMO Anything but the Atkins is good...Carbs are our friends. :)I feel you on this too b/c I gained 5lbs over the summer and am working on losing it right now. I try to run everyday and end up running 3-4 times a week plus I am in an aerobix class @school. good luck to you. I shall pray to the goddess of nice bodies for us all.
