I've seen it happen once or twice - in fact, I once saw the cable snap as the person went into it, and the person did their best Tarzan impression, getting slung around the ring.

And I used to wonder why we always put our arms OVER the top rope. If they had done anything else, they would have been catapulted backwards into a cinder block wall - not a pretty thought.
